Andrew Coleman is a three time Grammy Award-winning engineer, mixer, producer, and guitarist whose work has helped shape some of the most successful recordings of the past three decades..
Originally a guitarist from Southern California, Coleman discovered his passion for recording while making demos with his high school band. That passion led him to a stint at Full Sail University and by chance, to Virginia Beach, where he became an integral part of the creative team behind The Neptunes, helping develop and engineer some of the most influential pop, R&B, hip-hop, and crossover records of the modern era.
Best known for his longtime collaboration with Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo of The Neptunes, Coleman has engineered recordings that have sold more than 200 million copies worldwide. His credits span an extraordinary range of artists, including Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Snoop Dogg, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Usher, Destiny's Child, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and many others.
Throughout his career, Coleman has earned multiple Grammy Awards and numerous Grammy nominations for projects ranging from Justin Timberlake's "Justified" and Frank Ocean's "Channel Orange" to recordings by Beyoncé, Madonna, Robin Thicke, and many others. Beyond his engineering and production work, he continues to contribute as a guitarist on select international recording projects.
His various film soundtrack credits include Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Fast & Furious, Bad Boys II, Empire, Rush Hour 2, Dr. Dolittle 2, and Barbershop 2.
